Man police nabbed at Disneyland, after he led crime spree elsewhere, found guilty

A Monrovia man arrested last year in Disneyland’s parking lot after a day at the theme park was convicted today of 33 felonies for crimes he committed elsewhere.
Anthony Hislar, 27, faces life in prison for crimes including home-invasion robberies, carjackings and a shooting in the fall. A Los Angeles Superior Court jury did not reach a verdict on a charge of attempted murder and a mistrial was declared on that count.
Hislar was arrested on Sept. 24 in the Disneyland parking lot by Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department deputies and Anaheim police officers.
Deputies received a tip that Hislar was spending the day at Disneyland and apprehended him as he was leaving the park at about 6:30 p.m.
During the arrest, a stolen Mercedes-Benz linked to Hislar was recovered in the parking lot.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on April 7.

What a catch! I’m sure all jurisdictions the crimes were committed in are very pleased. Let’s hope the judge doesn’t cut him a deal he can’t refuse!

To Rockman:..What ‘Secret” Disney police? It’s not a secret that Disney has security that’ so sophisticated it rivals some police departments. Also, YES, the APD has almost ALWAYS been allowed in Disneyland, they have units backstage pretty much everyweekend, they have a direct line to APD and the fire department. Disney works very closely with APD, I mean c’mon…seriously.

Yea, our jail and prison systems are hosed up, but we need more law enforcement like SHERIFF ARPAIO OF MESA ARIZONA!! Bologna sandwiches never hurt anyone and and a little hard work was just what the judge had in mind. The people who are trying to make a honest living are being taken by jurks like this. Lock the door and throw away the key!!
