Once a week, we pick two or three of the best photos that you readers post to the OCR Around Disney Flickr group, and we feature them on Around Disney.

About once a month, we’ll print your photos — giving you credit, of course — in the hard-copy edition of the Register.

Want to share your photos with like-minded Disney fans and get a chance to have them published in the Register? Visit our OCR Around Disney Flickr group and join up — you have to have a Flickr account, but setting one up is super easy. Just go to flickr.com and click “create account.”

If we pick your photo, we’ll e-mail you for your your full name and the caption information for the photo, and pop it online on an approaching Friday.

This week’s first winner (above) is a silhouette of Matterhorn Mt. at sunset. It was shot by our Flickr friend Danielle Vioskey of Lake Forest, who uses the handle, “Danielle V.K.”

The photo is titled, “Matterhorn at Sunset.”

Our second Flickr Friday honoree produced an image of a little boy making a Captain Hook hook with his pointer finger while wearing a pirate hat at the Blue Bayou Restaurant.” The photo was contributed by, “michaelng.”

The caption reads, “Argh… Wheres me eye patch! - Blue Bayou Restaurant.”

Our final featured photo was posted by, “Disney-Grandpa.” It’s a picture of a hoola-shirt-clad Goofy taking a snooze at California Adventure stoop.”

Disney-Grandpa titled this image, “Goofy,” and the caption reads, “t was a slow Saturday in Cal Adventure and there didn’t seem to be anyone to pose with .. so Goofy decided to take a break !!!”
