Los Angeles-based Disney cruises will set sail for Alaska and Mexico in 2011.
The company announced the new destinations during last week’s D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center.
One of two current Disney ships — the Disney Wonder — is set to be based permanently at the Los Angeles port starting in 2011.
That year, guests will have two options for trips on that ship. Disney will host seven-night cruises to Alaska departing out of Vancouver during the summer. In the spring and fall, travelers can take seven-night cruises to the Mexican Riviera, leaving from the Los Angeles port.
